Largo do Intendente is a superb square, and O das Joanas was where we had mainly coffee and our favourite beer, Super Bock. It has good prices and staff are kind and funny. Outdoor seating was cozy and warm even in winter. Muito Obrigada!

Don't reply to a "Bom dia". Service is slow and clumsy. Food is decent given the price, but still plenty of other nicer places.

The cafe is one of the bests I've been in Lisbon! The food is amazing and drinks too! The waiters are super kind and friendly! Recommended to all brasilians who want a nice place to stay eat and chill

The carrot cake was great and seating is on a cool square. Go here if you are around. Also not expensive.

We were there during a concert, there were no place available, and once we found a free table we had to wait 40 minutes for a (good) toast. Not too kind, and they did not seem able to manage a crowded night of work, despite the small number of customers that they can host at the same time.

This bar is the typical place in a lively but not touristic area were people from the neighbourhood gather together for drinks: either in its cosy inside (the building with its tiles and high ceiling is worth a visit) or the huge terrace outside. It seems that the place is always open: from breakfast until after midnight. I especially would... More

This tiny café/restaurant offers simple food (sandwiches, toasts, chocolate cake, ...) with a special touch. The interior is delightfully decorated, albeit really small. Most often, they also put out tables on the square. Overall, I would recommend it for a coffee or snack, but if you are more than two. Also, the last time I was there, the service was... More

This charming little café is the perfect place for a late afternoon drink before you hit Lisbon's nightlife. The sunny outdoor tables were just what I had in mind after an afternoon of going up-and-down in the Intendente/Martim Moniz neighbourhoods. Just pull up a chair, relax and ask for the daily juice! Top of Intendente spots!!!
