Hamburgers, salads, 2 lunch specials. Ok but nothing special. We were by coincidence in the neighbourhood and ate there. Friendly but the food was basic. We had a salad, a burger and chicken with rice. The fresh juice of the day was to my liking but my companions tought is was too watery (pineapple juice with ice). Nothing spectacular but... More

I wish I could go to Raio Laser every day! It is just the kind of place you feel at home, with great food at great prices. More importantly, their "lanchonete" concept is authentic for a city like Lisbon, imported and adapted in the 80's from the famous bakery/sandwich/burger/beer places in São Paulo, Brazil. Nowadays Raio Laser counts with an... More

I always go to Raio Laser because of the hamburguers, which are great and at a very good price. Nowadays there are a lot of fancy hamburguer restaurants all over lisbon, but raio laser is still not very known - even though it exists since 1986 -, which is good because it's not packed with tourists. It's not incredibly cheap,... More

It is notable that this restaurant is a bit out of the way of the normal tourist trail, but it is worth the effort to get to. The service is first class, multilingual, and the burgers are superb. The meat is very high quality and their secret barbecue sauce recipe sure does hit the mark. Added to that, for what... More

First of all service is like 10 stars, then I don't like barbecue sauce and this one I love! The food is great. The burgers are great and would recommend to anyone.

We loved this place, it was our first dinner in Lisbon. They give you a yummy sauce with your fries (which are decent) and the burgers themselves are cheap and delicious! The best was the one with onions and mushrooms (we went here twice!), I think it was called La Tosca or something like that.

Very tasty home-made hamburguers, desserts and portuguese bakery specialties in a cosy environment. Spacious, retro design and friendly service just next to Belém. Wi-Fi was available and we had a pleasant surprise when we paid! Will definitely come back!

Staying in Belem

Neighbourhood Profile
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
