I visited here as I read an article in the Telegraph which recommended this as one of the best places to eat in Lisbon. I have no idea how they came to this conclusion! The service was attentive, but for me, the restaurant didn't deliver. I chose the all you can eat picanha as I'm a fan of churrascarias. However,... More

I admit it, when I see a restaurant with an "all you can eat" item, I am not expecting for the greatest quality, I am just expecting for decent food and leave the place rolling like a bowling ball. Although, the all you can eat "Picanha", is the best beef you can find in this part of lisbon, and the... More

Visited about 8pm mid week. Staff seemed surprised to have diners. If you don't like steak then don't come here! Steaks are served with very thin slices of potato fried and crisp which were nice. Salad leaves were a bit limp and brown on the edges. House wine ok. What spoiled it for us was the little midge type flies... More

This restaurant received good reviews - and was just across the road from our hotel. It therefore made a great venue after a long day of walking around Sintra! We were the first to arrive at 8pm - and there was only one other couple during our meal. The food was lovely - and we had a great meal. Unfortunately,... More

Good food and good service made for a great dining experience. Fine dining at an affordable price. We enjoyed ourselves.

Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It was close to our apartment so we decided to give it a try, was not disappointed. Enjoyed our appetisers & our main was delicious. I had steak (rare) in a mushroom sauce, very tender. The sauce was full of flavour, definitely had porcini mushrooms in it. I would definitely visit next time I'm... More

We had not noticed the restaurant, although it was near the hotel where we stayed. We went in later in the evening and had a lovely meal. The home made bread was still warm and was the best we had in Lisbon with a tasty sheep cheese and jelly. The picanha steak and pork were very good with a lovely... More

The appetizers were quite good, the main courses were salty and my meat was tough. The service was good and the restaurant was conveniently located to our hotel. Would we go back? Maybe.

Some years back, we came here with my daughters and we were blown away by the food. So when we returned to Lisbon, this was in our list to visit. But we found that the quality has gone down this time around. The meat was rather stringy, and the sides were so boring. Maybe it was a bad night, or... More

This evening we decided to visit the little restaurant, named A Picanha. The steaks did not disappoint, whereas the service was a bit slow, unfocused, and not too experienced with an international audience. However, prices were good value for money. We can recommend a visit!
