Of all the Francesinha restaurants I tried, this is one of my personal top 3. It is a very tasty dish and their Francesinha sauce is very good though a bit spicy. Unfortunately is a bit far off from the historic centre but if you...More

It seems to be a established restaurant in the quarter according to the large afflence... As far as the francesinha is concerned, it is well cooked and delicious. For other dishes I encourage you to choose another restaurant. I went for the "Filetes & salada...More

Had dinner at Capa Negra II while on business in Porto and while I chose the restaurant in part due to proximity to my hotel, I really enjoyed trying out their specialty dishes. The restaurant is large and casual - it is a place to...More

I had lunch at Capa Negra II, the prices are average, but the service is very slow. I had the "Feijoada" and found it very insipid. Probably I had a lousy experience. Will give it a second chance...

Awful sangria (probably the worst I’ve taken), very cold local. The francesinha was fine and the service ok.

My husband and I chose this restaurant for our first francesinha experience and we are so glad we did. Had we been in Porto longer, we would have returned. We took a table outside to enjoy the fine weather and the staff was very attentive....More

Please don't be stubborn and eat what you think you like but instead order their specialty... I am not a big fan of the Francesinha because I don't like my french fries to be wet wet wet. Next time (and there will be a next...More

Our taxi driver recommended this restaurant to us for the Francesinha. After reading TA reviews I can't believe we ate in the same place as other reviewers. I have never paid for food that was so awful before. We ordered pasta which was gooey and...More

It’s a classic. If you want to taste a good francesinha and the best rissois de carne in town you must try capa negra. Quality still is the same! As sobremesas são caras para o salário português...mas são boas.

Our Uber driver recommed it frist, after the Climb Porto Bridge tour guide said we must visit this place and taste here the Francesinha! They got right, its really delicious! Other food as well, Caldo Verde was really good too!

From memory the menu was broad enough to find stuff that would be gluten free (fish, prawns, meat etc).....but I think it would be highly unlikely for the franchesina.
