Really nice place to eat with a variety of options including the typical francesinha. Nice to eat here and then go take a walk (and maybe a nap) at Serralves gardens

This feels like a place that's been around forever. Lots of local families having a late lunch (3 pm) on a Sunday afternoon. It was a bit chaotic to get seated, but the restaurant is so large that the wait is never too long. No menu in English and very little English spoken (Spanish was understood), so make sure you... That's a restaurant I use to visit when I go to Porto. Vintage decoration but always comfortable and the food is a good value. Francesinha is a must for clients. Price is ok

Restaurante bear house with shell fish and portuguese tradicional food. Francesinha is fantastic. Good bear and vinho verde (green wine).

Fairly large and busy restaurant with extensive menu. Benches in the left wing fairly tight and uncomfortable. Food average Portuguese and rather expensive. They do not do an all inclusive lunch menu so everything adds up quickly. Even the fizzy water is fairly pricey. Would not rush to go back there.

We went on a Saturday night in October. We didn't get there till almost 9.30 and there was a queue. They have a ticketing system and can tell you roughly how long you'll have to wait. They told us 15 mins and in fact we were taken to our table after 10 minutes. There were 4 of us. The menu... More

It looks like it is an iconic place to eat traditional oportos Francesinha. Yes - they serve a very good example of this sandwich! Quite recomended! P.S. The place is very busy - it is better to make an reservation.

We went here to try the francesinha, and it did not disappoint. It is a little bit out of the way, but if you take an Uber ride it's about 4-5 euros from the center. Glad we went.

Thank Michael S
