We noticed that Anthony Bourdain himself filmed here so we had to try the Tripas. We were marveled by not only the dish itself but also the quiet setting , the perfect entrees, the great house wine and most of all, the kindness of the waiter. Even the food tastes better when it is served with such delight and pride.... More

Very nice meal we had. We chose to take away, but the restaurant has a really nice feeling to it too and the staff was very nice. The portions were good. Very big. We found it however a bit on the expensive side and the veal although very well cooked and well seasoned was a bit on the lardy side... More

Cozinha do Martinho menu is based on traditional Portuguese cuisine and here you will find it in its finest! You can't expect less when visiting Cozinha Martinho, they are one of the last keepers of Portugal's 900 years gastronomy tradition, and they are doing a really good job. Start with the little appetizers, must try the Codfish Martinho style ...... More

Located at a residential neighborhood within 15 minute car drive from city centre. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Menu is concentrated on daily fresh 5-6 cold/hot entrees and around 10 main courses. Very good service, wine lis and price/value. After dinner we had an excellent 1999 Vintage Port. Opens till 11PM.

This is a very authentic place for real Portuguese cousine. I loved their apetizers and their wildpig meat with chestnuts, potatoes and a spinach-based sauce. Simply marvelous. It is not close to downtown and you will have to get a cab to arrive but it is worth the trip.

We visited many of the recommended restaurants on our recent stay in Porto but found this one by chance and liked it the best. Out of the centre you need to take a taxi (very reasonable fares) but it's worth the effort. The menu was only in Portuguese but be guided by the waiter and you won't go wrong. We... More
