You point or say what you'd like at the counter, they box and weigh then give you a barcode which you take to the cash desk to pay. They had run out of nata tarts when i arrived but if you wait 20 mins or so they produce more from the oven. All hot and soft, and genuinely morish. Not... More

I have just found this place by a chance and it was a perfect spot to get breakfast and a good cofee. The staff is really helpful especially the guy with stars tattooed on his arms. When I asked about some Portugese spacialty he told the whole story of it and taught me how to pronounce "Bolo Rei" correctly. In... More

A MUST place in beautiful Oporto. Founded in 1896 it is an institution. Expensive cork packaging/fridge magnet bars of chocolate from memory E7 make excellent gifts and are for sale at the entrance. Pastries galore. A pricy eating area at the back for lunch. Central location. Highly recommended.

As it was a short walk from my hotel, I had breakfast there daily. What a treat.....terrific prices and the quality of the food was amazing.....although it was across from the Bolhao Market, the patrons were almost all locals. Please visit this place....perfect for a Coffee (Bica) and a Pastais. Very Highly Recommended......
