I'm not an expert, but love Sushi and eat at lot in serval restaurants over the world and this restaurant was VERY good. The rice was tasty, fish fresh, and service very pleasant. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I went to Ichiban for lunch, I had heard of it but had little information apart from the fact that it is a reputed Sushi place in Porto. I had the lunch menu and all I can say is that the flavours are great, the...More

Restaurant itself is very nice, with interesting Japanese decor. We have been there few minutes after it was opened on Saturday night but there were already few couples so I guess the place is quite busy. We had tempura, noodles and sushi which were all...More

We went there without reservation and were lucky enough to have a table. The staff was very friendly and respectful. The place is very well decorated but most importantly the food was excellent and fresh.

The food was good but the dishes were served at different times so when one was finished eating, the others main dish would arrive.

Tried this restaurant based upon thé TripAdvisor reviews and the recommendation of the hotel concierge. I have often dined at Japanese restaurants in Porto, and have been invariably disappointed since most of these were of the 'Brazilian Japanese ' variety with creative and exotic takes...More

Highly recommend, fresh, good environment, good service. I guess it's not difficult to get fresh fish in Porto, a bit pricey, but affordable.

Description
The freshness and diversity of the ocean's fishes, together with the creativity and art of our chef, Masaki Onishi, allows you to have an amazing meal, surrounded by a modern and delicate environment, in one of the most privileged locations in Oporto. The restaurant is an "open space", composed by tree levels where you can sit by the windows enjoying the sun, close to the "action" next to our "open to eyes" kitchen or looking at the Atlantic Ocean, in our fantastic mezzanine. A perfect place for an unforgettable meal or a glass of wine during the afternoon, together with some fresh Sushi.
