The Best "Francesinha" in the world is a true statement. All over downtown Porto we saw the ads and true to their word. There is a traditional and a vegetarian option and although different both are great! ask for the free egg on top. A must if you happen to be in Porto. It is in an unpretentious cafe downtown... In Paris you have the Eifel Tower, in London The Big Ben, in Berlin you have the Wall and in Porto you have Lado B. Please try the Fransecinha.

The Francesinha was amazing! Toasted bread, good quality meat, egg in one price and of course beer sauce with free refill! The sandwich for dinner with friends before drinking it's amazing! The price is not so good for students but you only live once and you have to try best dishes and it WAS

Lado B is a Francesinha place like many others in Porto. What makes it special is that it's located next door to Santiago, which makes one of Porto's top Francesinhas. My brother always told me to visit this place, but I could not bring myself to it, "Why should I go there, when Santiago's right next door?". Well, the large... More

I love "francesinhas" but here the "francesinha" was just okay (the sauce was not what i expected and you can find way better in Porto). On other hand, if you are vegan they have a vegan "francesinha" with tofu sausages. The service was not good - the waiter was a bit forgetful.. l had to remind him about the fries... More

The service was quick and the clerk who served us was very friendly, but when we called another employee simply ignored .Good francesinha, good presentation, and space is very well done , good atmosphere.

Went as a solo diner and had the Francesina and fries. The sandwich was great, the fries were ok. The service was another story. Had to remind the waiter about the fries, not a big deal. Got handed the desert menu and decided no desert and told the waiter just the check. Tables around me then got the desert menu,... More

Their Francesinha and chocolate cake are must try. Service is normal during peak hours. Can be more tourist friendly though.

I'm Portuguese. I've lived in Porto for quite a while, so I recognize a good francesinha when I eat one. Since I've been vegan for a while now, I decided to go and try the vegan francesinha and I was honestly impressed. Will hopefully repeat the experience in the future.

Betting on the brewery, where the francesinha "crunchy" is assumed as one of the best in the city, also salads, burgers with pineapple, crepes and even The Best Chocolate Cake in the World, already make the delight of the patrons. At the bar will parade the caipirinhas, the long-drinks, the mojitos, a varied selection of gins, sangria and beer and foreign, especially the popular Super Bock, Chimay, Franziskaner and Erdinger.
