We came with my friends soon enough, and yet we waited for so long. Although we were many we waited 1 hour for the food. The food was acceptable but nothing special. However one can consider the quality price ratio as really good, I must commend them on that.

Caldo Verde, a really good chateaubriand, and beers for two, all for under 20 euros a person. A typical neighborhood Portuguese place within strolling distance of our hostel, a random but happy choice. Very pleased.

One bowl of caldo verde, 2 plates of sardines with the best chips I have eaten for a long time, 2 glasses of wine, one bottle of water and a coffee with mini ice cream thing for €18. Friendly staff, good food, good value. Wish we spoke Portuguese so that we could understand the menu and communicate better with the... More

I ate a grilled sole with boiled potatoes and my girlfriend had squid and potatoes. We had fruit for dessert and it came to 30 euros.

The meals are not fancy but the meat very fresh and tasty. The service was very good and quick. If you want a great meal for fair price it's a good place to go.

The restaurant is mainly used by locals, who are a little bit wealthier. It looks traditional and comfy. The staff is very friendly but only one man speaked English. The dishes are pretty big and taste great. We had omelets with shrimps, which were great but not very cheap. We also had sliced veal for two persons, which we paid... More

We had the selfish bread stew (Açorda de Marisco) and it was delicious. It's a simple restaurant, with nice staff, tasty food and a good price.

The bread and the dips you get for welcome you have to pay expensivly. The dishes had no spices, no salt, no pepper and tasted very boring. We wouldn't recommend this restaurant to other people. Also the atmophere was uncomfortable when the waiter started the TV behind us because he had nothing to do.
