This is a gem in Viana do Castelo. The whole family loved the food. The meat and fish dishes are easily enough for two adults. The vegetables that came with these were the only drawback, they were a bit bland. The pizza are among the best I have ever had, including in Italy, and the pasta is also superb. The... More

First, the food is amazing - very tasty and generous quantities, genuine italian food. The staff is fantastic - the chef was very nice and even sat together with us for a while. Try the lasagna, pasta caprichosa and the sweet pizza! A speciality of the chef! Couldn't understand the bad comments on the staff sympathy or cleaniness - the... More

Deservedly popular italian : we only just managed to get a table, but it was Sunday so maybe other options were limited. Thought the pizza was good, and the portion of risotto was enormous; the service was fast and attentive; and the price was good value (30E for 2 courses for 2)

I only had a take away pizza, but it was very good. Quick and good service. I would definitely recommend.

I ordered a Margarita pizza. Pretty basic thing to ask for. Pizza ended up being one of the blandest, most flavorless pizzas I've ever had in my life. Barely any tomato sauce, mostly just cheese on pizza dough. I was still hungry but couldn't even finish the pizza. Maybe their fish or other Italian dishes are better? I would strongly... More

Been here on various trips to Viana and it's the type of restaurant that I cannot resist visiting multiple times in a trip. The pizza is simply fantastic, and it shows with the popularity with the locals: most people you see in here are Portuguese. Arrive early or see about a reservation because there can be a wait ( although... More

Anyone who has ever tried a good pizza in his life should avoid this restaurant at all costs. Low quality ingredients and an even lower quality of service.

We've managed to eat at this restaurant several times over the last few years and it is always a great choice. We always eat inside, though it also has outdoor seating and tables. We've tried the pizza, fish and meat dishes, all of which are lovely and the portions are very generous. Extensive and reasonably priced wine list. We especially... More

All pizzas cooked on wood-burning stove. Great place. A must when visiting Viana and you want to have a nice calm dinner.
