We visited Pecore Nere last time we were in Koh Samui 2 years ago and we knew it was a venue we would make numerous return visits to while on the island February /March.
Food is always amazing, pizza is their speciality but we love their pasta and indian dishes which are full or taste and flavour. Si is a great host and has a wonderful smile to welcome you and credit to Andrea her husband who serves the great tasting dishes. We will be back!

Just had dinner here with my son, who had been craving a steak. Wow, we were not disappointed , the chateaubriand was cooked perfectly and well worth the wait (the restaurant was busy so we had to wait about 30 minutes). I tried the truffle amarone risotto it was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted! They had a singer/sax player on who was really good too. Would definitely recommend a visit and will be going back soon.

Pecore Nere, which means Black Sheep in English, is a road side restaurant in Chong Mon. Covered, but not enclosed, its chef/ owner is from Venice. He has a wood fired pizza oven and the biggest pizza menu I have ever seen. I eat the pastas normally and the food is surprisingly good and pizzas are also great. Fabulous value place and wines are very affordable by Thai standards. I assume its his wife who serves you, on her own during the covid era, so service can be a bit slow if several customers arrive at once, but who is in a hurry on Koh Samui?
There is just always something special about how an Italian cooking Italian food!

I endured all the disadvantages of this restaurant for a long time, but a couple of days ago my patience snapped. The owners encourage rudeness, they allow smoking in front of children. I went to this restaurant for 3 or 4 years, during this time they constantly attributed to me what I did not order, they brought other dishes, I waited for an order for a long time, sometimes for 1.5-2 hours. And all this at fairly expensive prices. They have lost regular customers and friends, I will dissuade my friends and acquaintances from visiting your restaurant.

Excellent pizzas and large in size so don't have a starter unless you are really hungry as the starters are big as well/
Good flavours and plenty of choice of other dishes if you don't want a pizza.
Average price overall .
One slight moan - the draught Peroni wasn't good

It was a lifetime that I didn’t so I’ve ordered a Calzone Classico ham and mushrooms.
Perfectly cooked in oven and very generous inside.
Didn’t wait more than 15min
Definitely high quality restaurant on the island and very fair price, paid 360.00 thb

We probably didn’t pick the best night to eat here because there was only one person serving on Thursday evening.
The poor waitress was rushed off her feet & service was slow but it really didn’t matter, we were in no hurry.
Excellent menu - made such a nice change to eat pizza! Huge selection of western & Thai food.
My gondola vegetarian pizza was delicious.
Good value for money.
Great cocktails.
Definitely recommended

Tried this one despite mixed reviews. Not overwhelmed by our first impressions, we had to move as our table wasn’t clean and it took ages to order. Our food was actually really good, as anticipated based off others’ reviews. But… our plates all came out at different times with a 30 minute gap between the pizzas and spaghetti. Service needed to be slicker and more friendly. So fine but not great and a real shame because with a bit of extra effort this place could be hitting excellent every time.

We stayed in Choeng mon area. Unfortunately, not a lot of choices for restaurants within walking distance of our hotel. We love Italian food and fortunately Pecore Nere was just a few minutes walk. The pizza menu is extensive. They have a wood fire oven so the pizzas are really tasty, thin crust and big in size. The spaghetti vongole and lasagna were also spot on. Prices are reasonable and owners are very friendly. We dined 3x during our week stay.

Underwhelming and disappointed to be honest. Arrived when the restaurant was quiet - warm welcome by all the staff who were all very friendly.
The menu is very large, it opens and unfolds multiple ways and is a bit overwhelming. It’s very confusing what is what but we located our choices and ordered. The food was the stumbling block. I have been trying to find decent steak in Koh Samui all week and this time, with a whole page of the menu dedicated to steak and the support of the waiter taking the order, I thought I’d found it. Ordered the more expensive 350g ribeye having had conversation with him about the least fatty piece of meat. Rest of family ordered pizza and pasta. The food arrived, and the steak was awful. Fatty and chewy, I was unable to eat 2/3 of it. Felt a little unwell looking at it all on the plate. Daughter’s pizza was ‘ok’ and other pasta dishes were bland. The red wine was clearly refrigerated which I haven’t experienced here before but not my favourite l!
We were last in and last out so I think it was all rushed and we left disappointed but with a bigger bill than normal due to the steak
A real shame.

If you want to have a bit of a break from the wonderful Thai cuisine I highly recommend you check this place out! Great pizzas and lovely service.....a saxophonist was there when we visited and he was fab! And an added extra....check out the Thandie Newton lookalike 😉

Arrived, and we're a bit hesitant, the restaurant is not huge,and there were two large groups of customers one table of 12, and another of 8. The service was a little slow understandably, but we got our drinks, and then decided it was going to be a " pork" night and not pizza.
I ordered the pork knuckle, the waiter explained it was a large meal,1.2 kilos of knuckle,with mash potato,and ratatouille. Yep,it was a large meal delicious,well cooked juicy pork.
My wife ordered pork ribs , loads of ,em and with mash.
A couple more beers,and we left well pleased. A popular restaurant understandably.

We had a great meal here and were surprised by the authenticity of our Spaghetti Bolognaise it was delicious, rich and tasty, served with crusty bread. It’s an easy dish to get wrong but this restaurant did a great job. The service was efficient and friendly - would highly recommend this place as an alternative eatery in Koh Samui.

It’s always a pleasure to come back at Pecore Nere. I was missing the atmosphere and the pizza so much, we shared the Lamborghini, then we continued ordering the meat.
The owner recommended the wagyu so we ordered it and also the lamb shank.
Of course we didn’t want to miss a good wine to pair this amazing food so we ordered Valpolicella for starter and then we opened an Amarone!
I must to say that Andrea the owner was very kind and as per Italian tradition has invited for espresso and grappa.
One of my best culinary night in Samui.

The best in my opinion Italian on the island and the meals are soo cheap and big. We had the Ceaser salad which was awesome I had the pizza huge cooked in a real wood stone oven soo yummy and my partner had the seafood spaghetti which was huge and had lots of very very fresh seafood in it and also a lot of different seafood was amazing
We both loved it. The margarita was beautiful and so strong but delicious and then after the meal we got this very unique free shot of melted yummy chocolate with a liqueur in it omg I want more. The chef is actually Italian and the food is completely authentic. The menu is large so you have a great choice and the staff are adorable. Fabulous service fabulous food and drinks thanks so much for last night xx
