Very old brand just around the corner. Always busy in the afternoon. Locals get a quick bite here as they walk out with the classic "cheesepie" or "spinachpie", and various other quick bites that are on display. A couple of euro will get you a...More

Was taken here on a food tour and unfortunately only tasted their famous “koupou” (a small cheese-filled bun), but there was a huge selection of delicious-looking savoury pies (only saw one sweet one). Would love to have good back to taste others.

No tables, just take-away. A variety of pies (chicken, potato, cheese, mushroom etc). All cooked fresh (and hot). If you are near Syntagma Square or Ermou Street it's worth a try.

Let me start by saying that I grew up in Athens (left Greece already back in 1991 though) and am 46 years old; thus I do remember the days when tyropita (cheese pie) was filled with real cheese, and not with this plastic-like stuff! Ariston...More

During our spring visit to Athens, we decided to find this restaurant. We were not disappointed, food is great, too bad it was on our last day.

Our Athens tour guide, Nina, brought us here for breakfast. Homemade pies were delicious! We had spinach, cheese, and mushroom pies. We stopped in early, around 8 am. Really nice for takeout - we ate them as we continued our city tour.

Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is
Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament
building on its upper side and surrounded by other
large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande
Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia
are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like
the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia
Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents,
