It's been about a year since my last visit to Kollias and I was not disappointed. As usual the fish, salads and sides were fresh and delicious. The whole salt encrusted fish was special as always. The owner gets most of his fish from Kalymnian fishermen who are the best in Greece not to mention famous for sponge diving. The... More

It's fair to say that it's one of the best places in Athens for fresh seafood. The prices are fair, the fish is excellent, but you HAVE to try the aubergine salad with tahini. Also, the shrimps in the oven and of course the spaghetti with sea urchins is amazing. All in all, it's a must.

Best place in Athens if you are looking for an authentic Greek fish restaurant unlike the touristic places. Mr Kollias is a wonderful host and the seafood is incredible! You can choose from a variety of delicious freshly caught fish and seafood plus local wines and spirits. We had the fish soup, eggplants with mussels, fried seaweed and exquisite sea... More

this is a place for a simple fish dinner or a quick biz lunch. Fresh ingredients, good offer of fish generally cooked on simple ways: grilled or fried. Some appetizers were interesting, but most of them too heavy. Very few bottles out of the wine list were available, so the waiter asked me to follow him to the fridge and... More

Good places for real seafood lovers are really hard to find in Athens. Kollias is one that exceeds expectations though. I have became a regular client now as I can find fresh fish in a really nice atmosphere and professional service. There are also separated places for smokers and non-smokers. Really recommended

Extremely tasty cuisine, specialized on fish! Despite the casual and laid back style of the restaurant (wooden chairs, paper sous plats) I loved how they paid attention to the detail, for example they served some delicious fish soup in beautiful china bowl, brought to us on a trolley. Definitely one of my top seafood restaurants. Will be back!

Conveniently located on Syngrou Avenue this fish restaurant is old school and a must try for seafood in Athens. Mr Kollias, a widely known master of sea culture, personally oversees all preparations and helped us choose an excellent salt-crusted grilled sea bream (Fagri), that was then served 'flambée' at the table. There’s a colorful counter where you can preview and... More

Here a classic tavern popular among locals in Athens. Only fish in the menu, extremely fresh and cooked in a simply Mediterranean way. The choices for starters are broad and excellent execution of classic Greek cuisine choices.

I'd not been to this excellent restaurant before. But a larger group gives the opportunity to have some of the larger fish that would be too big for two. The whole experience of bringing the fish to the table and serving it was fun and the eating lived up to expectations with everything beautifully done and very tasty indeed. I... More

Friendly staff, fresh fish and very tastefully salads, the price is a little high but the fresh fish is expensive everywhere. I didn't order desert. Overall very good experience.
