We have followed our tourist guide to find it... it was right, the place is very small but the traditional greek food was delicious. There was only negative point:nobody speaks english so we had some problem to order our lunch but for the rest it is unbeatable... for sure i will come back before leaving athens.

I read about this place on Trip Advisor and figired I would give it a try.. The comments about the line up are true and after waiting in line for about 30 minutes I finally got served. Truth be told from this Greek there was nothing special about the souvlaki at all. I have eaten better in less known places... More

Well worth looking for it after seeing good reviews. It is well prepared and tasty. It's a pity that I can't find something close to this back home.

After I waited the line 20 minutes, and I got the answer "Everything were sold out now. I don't have anything for you." I were disappointed for that, and also I found out the man got his food who standing after me.

Class establishment frequented by the locals who know. Get there by 11 if possible and get 1 of each, at least... Very professional and very friendly service. The food is outstanding.

If you want to taste the authentic souvlaki at it's best here is the best place to visit. Make sure you ll come early because often till 14.00...Everything is sold out and they close. Fresh pork meat , and handmade patties. If you like spicy ask him to.add red peppers . Simply delicious !

Possibly one of our favourite places we went to in Athens! Love how hidden away it was. Our gyros/souvlaki was amazing!! I wanted to eat here again before we left but "we have to try other places".. definitely come back here again on our return!

Thank AdaIoannidis

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
