Situated in busy square in the Plaka district of Athens, this restaurant has a lot of local competition. The food and service make it stand out. The vegetable soup is deserving of a mention and do finish with the baclava.

We came for the moussaka which was pretty average. It obviously wasn't freshly prepared, but just reheated. Prices were okay. Portions aren't too big. Service is not exactly unfriendly, but certainly not friendly either. We wouldn't eat here again.

Don’t even bother looking at the menu, order the lamb in clay pot and it’ll be the best decision you make in Athens! Came on the recommendation of a friend and we were beyond pleased we took their advice. A great location in the heart...More
Our experience at Estia was by far the best in our entire week-long stay in Athens, Greece: We were walking along Kidathineon Street in Plaka around dinner time, window shopping and enjoying the bustling city scene, when my travel partner and I started to get...More
