We ate here 4 times in 3 days (3 lunches, one dinner) so we are better qualified than most to review this restaurant. Every dish was good, from the delicious zucchini fritters and other small dishes at lunch to the excellent lamb chops and kleftiko at dinner. It is the perfect place to experience Greek food. Service was professional, all... More

Had lunch here in mid-April. Its certainly not a fancy or expensive restaurant based on the ala carte menu. However, we unfortunately went off piste. The waiter recommended the BBQ’d fish for two and our daughter, who is a little picky about her food got a plain chicken breast with chips, bottle of still water and two glasses of local... More

Been here for dinner. Ordered some sardines with the greek variant of hummus but received an extraordinary salty hummus that nobody could eat. The service was also poor. There are several other very good restaurants in Athens, so don't waste your time and money here.

It's a very local restaurant. The meat plate and sea food plate are very delicious. The owner and Chef are very friendly, we are 7 of us, had salad, soup, meat plate and fish plate, and unlimited red wine and white wine. it costed 175€. We thought it's a reasonable.

They catch you with 20€/person and tell you that also drinks are unlimmeted. After the second glas of wine, we had to pay for it separately. Never again.

Unfortunately, we have a pure blackmail case after threatening us with negative criticism to win a free drink, then avenging us for the drinks that we craved More

In the first view it looks quiet nice and they made a good offer with food and drinks. BUT if you take the offer it really poor. Only one drink for the complete menu and only poor desert and pre-course. Please go to another restaurant if they try to catch you.

This place is awesome..... if you want to sit and watch priests go by! I quite liked it for a drink and (unlike most cafes in Athens) a bit of sunshine. Miserable service but a nice break from the hustle and bustle.

Thank Paul B

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
