Wonderful decor and outstanding view! Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Sommelier very helpful and selected a wonderful Greek red wine for us Scorpion fish prepared in Corfu style was wonderful My steak was over cooked and tough, replacement cooked correctly but still tough, I guess Greece is more of a lamb than a beef place....but with a name like Tudor Hall,... This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Athens, and never disappointing. The food, service along with the elegance of the inside room, with a view or on the enclosed terrace facing the acropolis are not to be missed on any visit to Athens. I have eaten just about all of the dishes on the menu and I... More

We were Athens with the family for a couple days and stayed at the King George. The restaurant is Michelin Rated and overall all excellent. The food is a good mix of traditional Greek and other Mediterranean foods. The staff did a nice job paring our dinner with some great Santorini wine and the desserts were excellent. From the roof... What's not to love about Tudor Hall?! It's amazing and a clear winner when it comes to a fine dine experience in Athens. It's at the luxurious King George Hotel and the restaurant decor is grand and beautiful. The view at night has to be a winner as you can see the lit up Acropolis at its balcony tables which... More

We stayed at King George for a week, and visited Tudor Hall for breakfast regularly. Best staff and better view than from the neighboring GB Rooftop. We were staying with a baby (23 months) and the staff were exceptional at the restaurant! Always making a separate straw for the baby (cutting it to size so that it's easier for the... More

I do not like writing negative reviews, particularly about a place to which I have been on many previous occasions and have never left dissatisfied. However, we recently took two friends from UK to Tudor Hall at the King George Hotel for dinner and I left feeling frankly ripped off. We were none of us particularly hungry, so we decided... More

The Grand Bretagne was not able to seat us, due our late flight however they made a reservation at the King George. The food was outstanding, service impeccable and view, well the picture says it all.

Staying in Syntagma

Neighbourhood Profile
Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
