This is truly a jewel when it comes to homemade flavoursome cooking. In the heart of Athens, it is a must to visit if you want to experience great friendly atmosphere and food that tastes like home. Lovely owners and amazing staff.

Don’t go to this place for dinner, we went there at 6 pm, the whole market was dark and quiet, that’s how we found the place, we tried at lunch, couldn’t find the place. The owner lady was friendly, they only have liver soup and...More

My last visit I had 5 East Coast Foodies (far less adventurous than Westies). This place is a Haven of old school flavors for me. I also know that milk comes from a cow and not a box! While perusing the market, which generally sets...More

This is a busy, bustling restaurant right at the entrance to the central market, not a place for a quiet lunch or tête-à-tête. However if you want to have some excellent food, speedily served in a friendly atmosphere, this is the place for you. The...More

I was there twice during my visit to Athens. Definitely, the best soup I've ever tasted. The beef soup and the fish soup were delicious, the place was very welcoming, everything was fresh and tasty. It was not VERY cheap, but it was worth it

Awesome little place in meat market building. The owner and staff were all really friendly and took time to explain everything to us. The food was great. One of the best meals we had in Athens.

Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is
grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from
the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its
underground stalls, the square is now mostly
frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The
most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set
off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually
coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a
