This listing is the same place as Xatzn's - so my review is the same as that one. Very good food; forget about the place being empty (except on some Sunday afternoons when you can't get in). The service can be slow (except on Sundays when they have more than 1 person front of house).

As authentic as it comes. Simple great Greek restaurant. Loved it. Courgette fritters to start - yum. Then bream simply grilled. Tasty food served attentively with excellent cheap Greek plonk to accompany. Quality ingredients. The real thing. Authentic, traditional, dependable and decent. Go. Unless you're after something trendy!

Modest and charming Greek taverna near the waterfront of the Zea harbor. It serves traditiional Greek food as well as fish. We had cod and a freshly cut lettuce salad. We sat outside in the sunshine and really enjoyed our Sunday lunch. Brisk service by friendly waiter.

I remember this place since I was a child. Traditionally we chose it when we wanted to eat peynirli. Funny enough I've been going there for the past twenty years but I've never tried anything else. Their peynirli is delicious; around the centre of Pireas there is no other restaurant or pizzeria that offers such a good one. My rating... More

The place was empty when we ate here, but we were hungry and the menu looked good. We started with a greek salad and giant beans. Both normal Taverna food, and we enjoyed them. Main course was fried calamari, and a big surprise, smoked pork chop, which turned out to be a lovely and tender bacon chop. Fantastic! I think... More

Slow service, out of 11 meals half was ok others were below average. Staff were friendly and prices were ok. Won't go out my way to go again.

After a trip to the Maritime Museum, we walked around the marina looking at the super yachts and then to this restaurant for lunch. The service was slow but we were in no hurry. Two salads were nothing special but the fish that followed made up for it – swordfish steaks, a pile of sardines and I had Salaniki shrimp... More

The best genuinely greec restaurant around the Piraeus. Ok the only one we went but with good food, good service, nice owner and local customers, I'm fully happy with our choice!

Some friend from Piraeus recommended to go to this tavern. They said it's one of the oldest taverns of pasalimani, they are open for 40+ years and we went! the food was fantastic, similar to greek meals we had in Greek friends houses over the years. You have to taste the pastitsio, the gemista, the briam and the soupies (that's... More
