The setting is lovely, the food very good, and the live music added to the total experience! We had a relaxed dinner of lamb chops, tempura vegetables, Createn pies, local wines and yogurt with homemade orange jam for dessert. It was a fun evening! We'd return!

My partner and I loved this place so much we ate here 2 nights in a row. There was wonderful live music being played while we sat in the open air tavern. The food was rustic, delicious and absolutely sensational, as were the drinks and desert. Don't rest on your laurels and eat souvlaki here (although I'm sure it's great)-... More

Stumbled upon this joint by accident. Had a blast! Great good, service and music. Best meal we've had on Crete, and really enjoyed the experience. Beautiful setting. Highly recommend!

I happened on this gem of a restaurant while on my way to one of the "top tens" for lunch. It was so quaint and lovely inside I sat down for an appetizer, but stayed for a full meal. The service was fun and friendly. It remains one of my favorite experiences during my trip to Chania; unassuming, textured, friendly... More

Fantastic food, across the whole menu, and fresh fish cooked on open flame. Live music added to the atmosphere, and the friendly staff made the visit unforgettable. After walking around Chania for hours looking for a spot to eat and relax, we stumbled upon this cosy taverna by chance, and I'm so glad we did. Authentic greek/mediterranean food for a... More

The best meal of our two week vacation here in crete. The daily offers are incredible, the live music emphasizes the atmosphere and the waiters are extremely friendly. We were here last year and we'll come back next year!

Had several great evenings at this gem of a music taverna while staying in Hania. It is tucked away in a quiet area just 5 minutes from the noisy harbour area. Wonderful atmosphere and great Cretan traditional food all served up by friendly staff. The lamb chops were particularly tasty - small Cretan chops not the tasteless "monster chops" we... More

Service was terrible. The waitress was a terrible liar. We wanted to have 2 beef steaks and we were told by the waitress that they do not have any steaks as it is the end of the season and once they run out of something they will not buy it again. This indicates that food is not fresh ! Anyway... More

Mid range budget local food eating not far from the port area in a nice open air garden type setup. Reasonable pricing with live soft music. It deserves a visit.

A very atmospheric taverna built inside the shell of a WW2 bomb site in one of the more characterful (and less commercial) parts of the Old Town. The generous Cretan food is fresh and very well prepared and the service is friendly and attentive. There is a house band who provide top notch musical accompaniment helping make this a fine...
