Located just outside of Rethimno, literally on the beach, with views on the old Rethimno castle, this restaurant serves delicious fish and seafood. Service was great. This place is on the pricey side, but we had a wonderful lunch here. Don't miss the fish soup, made with water from the sea!

The meal we had at Prima Plora was the best we've had so far in our stay in Crete (and we've had some pretty great food during our stay). From the bread and olive oil, the selection of starters, lovely fresh fish for main and the wine, everything was delicious! We visited with our 9yo son and there were options... More

The place was recommended to us by our host. The restaurant overlooks the sea, but the view and the environment weren't particularly impressive for me. The food was at very high level - obviously using high-quality ingredients and prepared perfectly. Quite a good wine list as well. Found it a bit pricey. Still, would recommend, if you are not on... We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our dinner here, recommended by our host Giorgos. The staff were quick, polite and attentive. They made space for us to have a table in their veranda right on the ocean front. Every dish was well crafted using local ingredients, including some herbs we don't have at home. The prices represent very good value.

Whether a casual lunch or a fancy special night out, I recommend Prima Plora. We dined right on the ocean with a view of the brightly lit Fortress across the bay. The food was five star. Appetizers galore, excellent seafood, superior service, and reasonable prices. Also, there is available parking. We went twice, because we just couldn't get enough of... More

The perfect combination of quality, quantity and price. Atmosphere and service are extra pros. The majority of the materials are organic. Tasteful food with great view...

We ate dinner here recently, and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious. We sat in the outside seated area (which is covered and heated) and the ambience was lovely. Service was great, the staff were polite, attentive and friendly. We enjoyed starters and mains, had a lovely bottle of wine, and were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the bill... More

We were recommended this place to eat and it is in a great location. The service was appalling it felt like the waiters were doing us a favour serving us. Worst meal of the week as well, the food was cold served on cold plates. All round poor experience

We have dined here twice, the first time through recommendations and the second time because it was the only restaurant in walkable distance. Food portion sizes on certain dishes are good, if a little too well salted, but the service is terrible. My husband had ribs the first night and then a T bone steak on the next night, he... More

Description
We strive for what we love in a world that has forgotten the value of food in our lives. A plate of food, eaten in a restaurant or at home, the taste and the quality depends on the raw materials we use. With this as our principle and also that are forthright in any form of mass production of the raw materials, we have come and we have partnerships only with small local producers, who have the same philosophy as us. Our cuisine consists of raw materials without pesticides and fertilizers and from animals grown and fed in nature, as normally required in warehouses and not eating GM foods.
