Fantastic family restaurant in the old town, castle area run by the family who also have the Acrothea Hotel. Dimitri and his brother provide a little surprise during their waiting service!! (I won't spoil it for you). The queue is often down the street but moves pretty quickly and they serve you ouzo while you wait!!
My wife and I have been to Sakis a few times over the 4years we've been going to Parga. This was the latest we've been to Parga 6th to 20th October. Parga is just winding down at this time of year, but the weather was good and we we're still able to sit outside Sakis and enjoy our meal. The... More
Sakis restaurant, in the castle precinct of Parga, specialises in traditional Greek recipes - all of which are delicious. Service is exemplary and includes a complimentary ouzo and other treats. I particularly like the outside setting and the friendly atmosphere, and the fact that you are personally greeted on arrival. Eat early or book your table as it's a popular... More
Taverna up past the castle down the main side street. Fantastic atmosphere, the service is incredible and the quality of the food excellent. Recommend the Prawn Sagnaki on the starters and any of the lamb dishes or fresh fish. The prices are very cheap and at the end of your meal you are asked what you have had to eat... More
We ate a couple of times here in our 14 day stay. Traditional Greek Cuisine prepared and served with Greek hospitality and friendliness. The food is of high quality for a very reasonable price. From souvlaki to moussaka every Greek dish is there. While you wait you get a taste of their own Ouzo but if you want to eat... More
We arrived in Parga on a late flight, we were tired and did not reach Sakis until other restaurants en route had closed. Although they were clearing away after what had obviously been a busy evening, they did not turn us away but offered us moussaka and a chicken dish, followed by Baklava - it was all delicious and we... Its testament to how good this restaurant is when people are prepared to queue for 20/25 minutes to get a table when the restaurant next door is virtually empty. Excellent traditional Greek food, cooked very well, the staff are friendly, always with a smile and it's not expensive. Great place to sit, enjoy an unhurried meal with a glass of... More
This is one of the most delicious places we've eaten at. The meals are traditional Greek and the prices are maybe lowest in Parga. That's why the queue is long every evening. It opens at 5 p.m. and it's better if you go there at 6, later you have to wait. Try the specialties of Sakis.
