Group of 8 people ordered a variety of dishes. Most of them above average. Must try soutzoukakia. Store sometimes has live music. Staff is friendly and helpful. We will come again.

After checking for good restaurants near our apartment in Thessaloniki on Trip Advisor we picked this one to visit. It's a little off the Tourist Trail but worth the visit. The restaurant was busy with locals when we called but service was good and English menus were available. We ordered mushrooms in the pan for starters which were excellent and... More

Very genuinely traditional place. Food quality and taste is very high. Service is OK and prices are good. The environment is warm and friendly with nice decoration reminding of an older era. Very nice music and atmosphere. Should visit it for both the food and music. The place has kept its character and quality intact. It is at the exact... More

Excelent greek tavern with traditional retsina (type of white wine with resin). At nights they have really good live traditional greek music (except on Wednesdays). Best of the soutzoukakia (cylindrical meat balls) and the fried potatoes!! The service is nice and friendly! Very good prices!! Do not miss it!

I had the pleasure of eating at Pire ke Vradiazi for the first time with a large group of co-workers and friends, and I could not have asked for a better experience. The atmosphere is great- everyone is friendly and the taverna is beautiful, but also very cozy and warm with soft lighting and traditional decor. You immediately feel welcomed... More

I'm from America and working in Thessaloniki. I went to Pire ke Vradiazi for the first time yesterday with a few local friends, and it was the true Greek experience. When I walked in, I immediately loved the atmosphere--folk art, soft lights, enticing smells. We sat down at our table and my friend got us a round of retzina wine... More

This restaurant is a must if you want to enjoy a great greek meal combined with some local music (almost every night). Staff is super friendly and can speak English incl. english menu's. The best place in Thessaloniki! We'll definitely go back!

We were there on a Saturday night, the ambiance was great, real local atmosphere. Despite the crowd, the service was very good and friendly. Everything we ordered was very good : grilled octopus, grilled sardines, paste of feta with red pepper, grilled eggplant with garlic are the peak. Live music was very nice with one buzuki, one guitar and female... More
