As a family with a small child and a veggie mum eating is often a challenge but the ship was great. Not busy, great service and something for everyone.

Warning, no the same place anymore. This restaurant used to be ok with mixed grill platters of decent sizes, so it was very disappointing to discover that the standard had dropped to an appalling level. The adult portion was an utter joke. Priced at 110 kroner, it consisted of one single skewer with 2 tiny (2x2 cm) pieces of chicken... More

The ship is cool, but the food is terrible!! Stay away, look at the ship from outside and find some good food elsewhere.

The food on this ship used to be quite good but now quality has dropped dramatically. News owners I guess. Chicken is borderline unedible. Avoid!

If you have kids this is heaven. The food was really great for the money. We paid 450 dkr. f two main courses and a children's plate - including two beers served in tin cups and milk served in a coconut with straw - fantastic. Make sure you explore the ship and dress up like a pirate. We had a... More

The concept of pirate meals on a pirate ship sounds great for the kids. But when the food is so bad that the kids comments on the quality, then it is really bad. I suggest: Take a look at the ship from the outside and stay outside

The kids loved it so it is well worth to eat here for the kids. It was too chilly on a cold day though and it is a bit too small for my liking. The kids burgers were delicious and came with really good potatoes. Our pig on a spit were really good too although the meatballs on the spit... More

Absolutely appalling. We went as a family of four at the end of a long afternoon in Tivoli. We were presented with a mix and match menu of overcooked cold rice or mixed grain, undercooked chicken sticks, frozen meatballs or pulled beef and sticky or BBQ sauce. The presentation was terrible. The menu was awful. The food was badly cooked.... More

150 DKK for something tasting like its made by an 16 year old student trying to cook his first meal ever. On top of these the inside dining room had maximum heating turned on even if it was mid summer, and the service was poor poor poor.......... Don't waste your money here.

This restaurant is a good choice within Tivoli Gardens for a fairly quick lunch or dinner. It is inside a pirate ship. Service is kind of slow, but Copenhagen seems to move at a slower pace than Americans are accustomed to, so its not much different than anywhere else. The food is fresh, tastes good, and you will leave full.... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
