Is visited degas together with my girlfriend we both had a 3 course menu. All the dishes where well prepared and and neatly arranged on the plate. We also got the wine menu with 3 glasses for 200kr and that complemented the food really nice. The service was exceptionally good which is not allways a given thing in Copenhagen. I... More

Had a lot of expectations - only heard good things about Degas - and they were all fullfilled. Execellent menu - more than enough. Nice wine menu and very observant service. Don't miss out on the chocolate dessert. Can't wait till next time.

The place is cosy and quite close to the city center. Staff is attentive and polite. The food though seems a bit too over worked. As if they think it is a gourmet restaurant rather than a brasserie. They should keep it a bit simpler. We had a three course dinner which we thought was a bit over priced.

Had steak fillets with fries, vegetables and pepper sauce, and it was good. Then had a coffee, which includes two macarons of own choice (I chose a Bounty flavour and a passion fruit / chocolate flavour). The macarons were very delicious.

We made reservations based on the high rating on Trip Advisor. The food was good but nothing amazing like I would expect from something so highly rated. The service was great, but the place was not what I was expecting and we were the only people in the whole place which changed the experience I am sure.

We came here based on the reviews and it didn't let us down. The service was good and the waiter was attentive. We receive complementary entree and dessert. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Food was great

We were there on a sleepy Tuesday evening. Very few guests when we arrived, and those that were there were finishing up. We opted for the set menu, where we could choose between two appetizers, two mains, and two desserts. One appetizer was shellfish based and one was foie gras based; one main was fish based and one was foie... More

How often have you been sitting in a really expensive gourmet restaurant thinking that it tastes amazing, but for this price the portions really should be bigger? Well, this is that gourmet restaurant that have normal size dishes. And normal prices. On top of that the recommended wine compliments the dishes perfectly. Add an attentive, hospitable and friendly staff, and... More

The food here is excellent and the staff are especially accommodating. My wife is a vegetarian and although the menu for vegetarians ism limited they really looked after her and made lots of adjustments! I would highly recommend if visiting Copenhagen! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
