We stumbled across this bar by accident as it's quite small from the outside. The barmaid was friendly and the drinks were very reasonably priced. A nice place to rest after some retail therapy.
Unfortunately we couldn't visit during an evening with live music, we just dropped in for lunch. The Guinness was cold and tasty, but over $9, the club sandwich was truly nothing special for $17, although the fries were good, and the Irish stew was good...More
We enjoyed a nice lunch at an outside table here. Gavin the bartender was very friendly and nice. Beer was good and pub food as expected.

Damian was the genial mein host I was looking for... set me up with a perfect seat to watch the rugby and kept the beer flowing... the rest of the staff were great too, good choice of beer and the craic was all good fun
Over the 2016 US Labor Day holiday, my 20-something year old daughter and I walked throughout the center city, and couldn't resist stopping at Farrellys. Excellent decor, attentive staff, and the nachos, shots and beer hit the spot.
