Delicious breakfasts, Danish pastries, coffee and hot chocolate. Rye bread to die for! If I was a local, I'd be here every day!

Being the first of the list of best bakery shops in Copenhagen, my expectations were high. The selection was very limited and it was too expensive. The hot chocolate I had was not so dense.

Quickly served and we paid by the counter. Amazing freshly baked buns, pastries as well as traditional smørrebrød. Tastes delicious. Recommended for a quick bite. Lots of seating.

Fantastic place. Refills on coffee. Relaxed atmosphere and the most delicious pastries. Right outside central train station if you're waiting

Loved the Danish pastry and other yummy baked goods. Don't forget to pick up a ticket as soon as you walk into the cafe. Order when it's your turn. Great location as it's right opposite of the train station.

I had spotted this on TripAdvisor when looking for the best Danish pastry spot. Totally worth a visit. It has a ticketed system when you walk in, be sure to look out for the machine as soon as you walk in (I didn't, oops!) pastrys, bread and other treats...well priced and I am only going to dream of the vanilla... This is a nice bakery-café for a good breakfast/brunch. Their bread and baked goods are great.. they have different bread rolls, a huge selection of danish pastry, homemade jam, danish cheese etc.. It lies just across from the train central station. The food price is very reasonable. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

What a great Danish went back twice. Had the loganberry Danish. Delicious. Had a strawberry Danish. Cant be better. Coffee was outstanding. Lines moved quickly. Wish it was around here. Friendly staff. Didn't expect it to be so yummy. It was.

Best authentic danish breakfast in Copenhagen. It is dead opposite main entrance of train station. For 75dk which is 9 pounds I had coffee, roll of my choice, homemade jam, danish cheese and a pastry. The bakery is extraordinary! Loads of seating area, and very clean. Not overly busy or crowded. The locals eat here too as well as tourists.... More

Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile.
