Cannot comment on the meals here as we stopped by only for a drink. The location is superb however with ample tables available close to the lake. You can also be entertained by the variety of family cycling contraptions that people have adapted to take advantage of the summer sun. Staff friendly and helpful. One downside if you are not... They offer a brunch buffet with wide variety of food at a very good price for this city! They had bread, jam, ham, cheese, hummus, croissants, chickecn, pasta, fruit etc etc etc the food was all very good and they have a big terrace for a sunny day!

My partner and I were walking along the lake in need of a very late lunch/early dinner. We had read about Cafe 22 in our travel book and we were very pleased with our decision. We shared the tuna sandwich, beef carpaccio and grilled tiger prawns. The beef and prawns were both very nice but the sandwich was absolutely delicious!... More

There was a good selection of meat. There were sausages, hot wings, ham, salami, burgers and bacon. There was definitely more variety for meat eaters than vegetarians. There was lots of bread, eggs, cheese, fruit and museili. The pastry selection was quite small. Pankcakes were also available. The buffet was constantly being refilled/topped up as a result there was not ever... More

Couple dinner, I took a clubsandwich (not big enough) and she took the tapas plate (small too). Overall the dinner was ok but definitely nothing special. Bread for half person.

The location itself is perfect, however, the menu is basic. We had a classic burger and pasta. The burger was super dry and not nice to eat, whereas the pasta was good. If you wanna eat good burgers that are reasonable for the price, this is not the place to be.

On a weekend visit to Copenhagen we walked around the lakes, as we were looking at a map a local gent stopped to ask if we needs help. On seeing where we were going he recommend cafe 22 for one of the best coffee's in Copenhagen. It was lunchtime and a wonderful budget was on offer but no room inside... More

Thus is a spacy bistro where you can eat ordinary food and suitable for large companies. Although waiters are friendly, they lack professionalism. Wine was decent and affordable, but food not that great ! Burgers overdone and fish without taste. Luckily the prices are moderated.

A peculiar bland menu reproduced in many of the cheaper restaurants in Copenhagen. Dry burgers, tasteless chili, undercooked chips. You get the picture.

Staying in Inner Noerrebro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.
