Stopped by on a business trip. Definitely worth visiting, food was good, service friendly and atmosphere comfortable. Only thing I was missing the last drop of spicyness in a 3 chili dish.

We were in Denmark to make a bike trip. We came here and the food was good. We were a little surprised by the ice tea which really was cooled tea with ice, sugar and cream. But we enjoyed our meal :-)

What a great place. I popped in on a Monday night to ge greeted by one of the friendliest most engaging person I have ever met. It was late and sadly the restaurant was empty and closing but they whipped me up a takeaway dish and while I waited I enjoyed a chat about everything and anything...Thai politics, Irish Immigration,... We're renting an apartment for a week just around the corner from this Thai restaurant, and looked forward to having dinner (take out, since we have a small dog and they have no outside seating). The young woman at the counter was very welcoming and helpful in translating the main menu items into English. We selected two pad thai, one... More

We had take-away from Siam Orchid yesterday - and the standard is still as high as I remember from about a year ago. Excellent cuisine for the money. Pad Thai and Curries are definitely good, although a little less "coconutty" than in most Thai restaurants. Portions are not gigantic but include a starter and even the largest men will be... More

I love Siam Orchard. They make authentic Thai food and being a vegetarian I love their tofu. They have a type I have never had anywhere else. The green curry is my favorite. My boyfriend is a fish and meat eater and has a whole handful of favorites. The service is wonderful - friendly people and a nice atmosphere. I... More

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
