We went here for a Saturday brunch and you must get the make your own breakfast plate. Fun to fill out the form and you get a ton of food. The yogurt and granola and the breads are particularly great. Plus once you're over here it's a nice area to walk around for antique shops. When yo go, grab a... More

This place comes up on a few brunch lists but it is very average.... It is no more than a 'hotel' esque breakfast. Tick off a few Bfast items on a list and they'll give into you on a plate. Probably good if you're a student or after something cheap but skip if you are here for a long weekend... More

A slightly ramshackle but warm cafe / bar in Vesterbro. We went for brunch and it had a nice buzz about it, but apparently it really comes alive in the evening when it becomes a bar. The food was really nice and decent enough value. The coffee was great. And there was free wifi. Win.

14 years ago, when I was as uni student in Copenhagen, B&Js was one of my favorite bars to hang out in. Today, visiting with my family for brunch, the place still rocks in its easy going and cool Copenhagen atmosphere! The food is not great - but prices are reasonable, the service is not pro, but very friendly and... More

Our first day in Copenhagen we had lunch at Bang & Jensen and it was such a nice place we decided to go back there on our last day to have breakfast. Both meals were delicious and a little bit funky but nice! The first time we waited for a while for a waiter or waitress but after 15 minutes... More

This cafe bar is a really cosy hideaway that sums up the Danish hyggle spirit perfectly. Good food for brunch or an evening after work washed down by great draft beers in a relaxed, unpretentious setting with cool understated decor. Can be busy but for good reason! Skal.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
