The ice cream was fantastic and there was a nice selection of flavors. This is a great stop on the way out to the airport, but well worth a little extra drive out of the city just for a nice ice cream cone.

This is great hidden gem in Copenhagen (actually Amager), that serves great ice cream. The place often has long lines of people waiting, but it's definitely worth the wait. Staff is all in "uniform" with a 50's look and there's a great atmosphere.

Have visited both the cafe at Amager and the new one in Søborg more than once. Both have some of the best ice cream in Copenhagen and the atmosphere is great. There are a very big variety of flavors both "old fashions" and very innovative ones.

It is a little far away from the center, but DEFINATELY worth the detour - the one and only place to get fresh made ice cream in Copenhagen. Often the queuing tells you if a place is popular - if so then you will have NO doubt. Luckily the staff is performing in the best possible manner, and the waiting... More

I am close to saying it is the best ice cream in Copenhagen. Don't be timidated by the queue, there are a lot people behind the counter to serve you. Enjoy!

This Ice Cream shop is located in a residential neighborhood, not far from the Fields shopping Centre and the Metro. They make the best home made ice-cream, there is always something new, based on the the flavors of the season. I have more than once drive the 40 kms from my home to get Ice-cream here!!!

Seriously! Witohut any doubts I found my favorite ice-cream and it is served here. Best one so far I have tried was made from rhubarb. However, all flavours must be tried. I love this place! And constant crowds there mean something )))

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
