Wonderful atmosphere! We started off with beef tartar and it was full of taste and leaves u asking for more. We ordered for main the Chateaubriand which was the best steak we have ever had. We finished off with the white chocolate pana cotta! An explosion of tastes and truly pleasant experience! It's not cheap but totally worth every penny!... More

I visited this restaurant with my partner. Closely located by Christianshavn metro and close to the beautiful canal area. Atmosphere is cosy "hyggelig" and really inviting. I was super happy with the service. Waiters were friendly, helpful and very attentive. The menu is very nice also had choice of a few set menus. We went for a la carte and... More

We went for dinner with the kids, everyone was super nice, the food was good, the meat was butter even rare! Really a bit of Argentina in Copenhagen.

Just great. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great location. If you have the Early Bird app, sometimes you can be lucky to get a good deal of a three course meal at discounted prices. The quality is still great. I have been here a couple of times and I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Can't really say it was the best steak I have ever had and in most other places in the world I would have said the food was heavily overpriced. But for Denmark, well I guess this is just an average priced meal (and it's really quite amazing how quickly you become complacent to the costs!) Getting back to the meal.... More

We visited Asador during dining week and enjoyed it immensely. The 3-course meal was delicious and the house wine, a Malbec, was very good. The waiters were attentive and they checked in with us at the right intervals. It was packed but the staff were on top of the service. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. We will revisit and... More

The title says it all. Great little resturant that I attended on my last night in the city. I regret not coming earlier. It is a little pricey but you have to be willing to pay for high quality rite?

Went there for dinner and got a great steak with some lovely sauce next to it and steamed vegetables. The wine was also great. The staff speak Spanish which was a good surprise. The location is just amazing - along the canal at Christianbshavn (the harbour). Would def go there again.

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighbourhood Profile
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
