A lovely, basic breakfast spot with the mist delicious food. Not your typical Scandi-cool spot, a lovely more traditional place. So worth a visit!

Food was excellent. Menu appeared to have a French influence. Had the filet of beef which was outstanding.

My friends and I visited Cafe Wilder after hearing good reviews. We were after a light lunch, so Smørrebrød was perfect. The menu was nicely presented with a good choice (although a little limited for vegetarians). The portions are very small, and it is quite expensive for what you get, however we did appreciate the fact it was well presented... More

It's that magical moment when you are trying to order from the menu and your waiter informs you that you actually receive everything on it! I love this place, it was a last minute decision before having to make our way back to the airport, what an awesome decision it was! Definitely going back. Nothing fussy or pretentious about this... The restaurant had missed our booking but managed to fit our company of seven. Clumsy but they sorted it out anyway! Not a very extensive menue, but boy! That burger was great! Very nice staff. Good atmosphere.

Stumbled across this place after wandering the area and had some traditional smorrebrod. Just what we wanted with great food, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere!

Started with excellent foie gras. Half-cooked and seemed as it was glazed, not sure how it was done but very good. The burger was great, so was the fish and also the mussels. The french fries were to-die-for. Desserts were equally great (creme brulee, fried camembert, and prunes with honeycake). I would definitely go back.

Sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. Restaurant very popular and reservations a good idea for brunch. Food was good. Your can order 2, 4 or 6 items. The servings are not huge but they are good. Coffee also very good.

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighbourhood Profile
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
