As always great service and great food. Very rarely am I disappointed in the slightest. Certainly the best spot for a fish based lunch in Lund.

We've had lunch and dinner here. Always packed, with a busy atmosphere. Perfectly cooked fish – we particularly enjoyed the fish soup. Attentive staff, but slightly too expensive.

Have visited this establishment several times, and the food has always been excellent. Effective and friendly staff, good value for money. Situated in the old sales hall the background can be a bit noicy and its always crowded over lunch.

My husband and I ate there recently for lunch. Absolutely the best fish around. There are maybe two or three choices for lunch, but all all prepared with an expert hand. We both had the flat fish which was huge and came with a side of roasted kohlrabi. Included also is their salad and their delicious homemade bread. The bread... More

malmstens is a fishmonger and fish restaurant in the famous old saluhallen market building very near the town center. it looks like a great fish shop, and there are many other good shops in the hall, including a fantastic cheese shop, but i was there to have dinner. they actually only had two things on their menu: the fish stew... The fish soup was superb, with a generous serving of cod (I think) and salmon. The soup was creamy and rich with flavours. However, I do find it a little too salty. Bread with salted butter (topped with more salt, I have no idea why) was served as well. Service was good too. Would definitely recommend this place.

We always go here when in Lund for their divine Fish Soup. This time we also timed the Friday Oyster Feast (SEK 10 each!) and we had 24 for us both. Excellent service and child friendly.

Great enviroment, super good service and delicious fish soup. Goes very well in the winter days for lunch or dinner with friends or couples. Very good house white wine. Recommended when in Lund!
