Local friends took me to this place that I otherwise will never have a chance to explore. The restaurant has two halls, one for happy hour type drink/dine with lots of people when we arrived around 6-ish, one is more like a formal dinning, quiet...More

This is a charming, cozy, candlelit restaurant serving traditional Swedish food. Nice ambiance with candles, palm plants, wood interior, nice small bar - and very popular. By the time we left almost every table was occupied, although the noise level was not extreme. We had...More

The Swedish meatballs are amazing!! The decor is classic and the service is excellent. A must stop while in Stockholm.

This place is pure old school. What an environment! Lots of different types of people come to this restaurant, which is one of the few that is open late in Stockholm. (These people go home early!) The Swedish meatballs are most excellent - try them,...More

Very good food, very friendly and polite waiters, we got a table even without reservation, the place is a bit noisy.

Honestly, the food was great. Traditional swedish food perfectly cooked and delicious. But absolutely appalling service. The lady who served us clearly couldn't care less about her customers and was so unfriendly that for that reason I do not recommend Pelikan. If you don't care...More

Just to add my bit, Pelican is the best value and arguably the most authentic restaurant in Stockholm

When we arrived it was very busy and we had to wait for a table as we hadn't booked. The food was worth the wait, it was very tasty. There was a real buzz about the place. The staff were friendly and efficient.

SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods
transformed from a rather quiet residential area into
the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became
Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent
coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts.
Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of
Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on
to their residential charm and quietness and became
