Local produce, fish dishes and an excellent atmosphere made this a stand out venue for food on our trip. Another tasty aspect to the menu was Moose in various forms. We oils not hesitate to return.

Booked by local colleague this was very nice. Service was good, prices reasonable, for Sweden. I felt too guilty to eat the reindeer but did try the moose steak which was superb. The potatoes were so good but probably extremely high in calories. Really enjoyed sampling local cuisine.

We started with the reindeer and horseradish starter which was so light and creamy and tasted divine! This was served alongside fresh breads which with caviar butter which was also very tasty. We had the moose burgers for mains and they were so flavoursome and fresh you could taste every individual ingredient! It was very good value for a central... More

I love Salt. It isn't the finest place in Stockholm but the food is wonderful. It is quiet and the service is great. I love love love the fish soup.

Salt restaurant was recommended by our hotel (Marriott Courtyard) and it's about a 15 minute walk from there. Service and food were both excellent! Great traditional Swedish food starting with the reindeer appetizer to the salmon and fish entrees- all was fresh and delicious. Place was not crowded although we did not get an outdoor table (there were only about... More

About the only attempt at atmosphere was the moose's head on the wall as you enter. However the food was excellent, especially the moose burgers, and reasonably priced for Stockholm - two main courses, two beers and two glasses of wine was just over 400SEK. Not too busy for a Friday evening but this meant the service was prompt. Well... More

We were unable to get into Mooncake (see review) so we walked a couple blocks to Salt, a quiet neighborhood cafe in a nice block. We had moose and reindeer for the first time, cooked nicely with herbed mashed potatoes and lingonberries. Wine list was decent and fairly priced. Our young Polish server was vigilant and pleasant. The manager (owner?)... More

Wanted to try the local reindeer and moose and Salt did not disappoint. We hadn't booked but we were able to get a table and the staff were friendly and helped explain the dishes on the menu. We shared the reindeer starter which was plenty for two. Was surprised that it was a cold dish with mayonnaise but very nice.... More

Overall a good experience. Good service, good wine and good food - I took the moose, that was a lot of meat. Good prices for what you get.
