Great place for a Saturday night dinner! High class food in a friendly and relaxed environment. The employees contributed elegantly to the relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommending 19 glas!

As I have a shop at the same street as 19 Glas have I heard a lot about the place. When I now had my English friends over and I was looking for a nice lunch restaurant close to my shop that served lunch after 2 pm (they do it until 3pm) was 19 Glas the one we went to.... More

Stumbled on this place for lunch. Lucky us. It was busy, but they found space for the 2 of us. Set meal of a main course and a pudding. Both lovely. Good selection of wine and beers. Despite being busy, the staff willingly engage with you, they made us laugh.

There are a lot of places that call themselves wine bars, but many have only okay lists. Whoever writes this list knows exactly what they're doing and the list is full of interesting and well chosen wines.

This wine bar has a wide selection of wines, the majority by the glass! The restaurant/bar is nicely decorated and the service is great! This is definitely my favourite wine bar and I'll be back! Keep up the good work!

19 glas could be viewed as a tourist trap but is not. Highly experienced and dedicated people run this place and food and drinks are top class. We opted for the 7-course dinner (715 sek) with accompanying wine package for the same price. Excellent, and we commented on the frequent use of nature wines they were immediately prepared to change

Thank Bengtnnn

Staying in Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest) alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.
