A nice place for a quiet dinner, within walking distance of our hotel. The menu had a varied selection, including seafood and (I think) vegetarian options. However, we both ordered the Swedish meatballs which were very nice. Not inexpensive, but a reasonable value for Stockholm.

Almost excellent food with a good value for money. Service immaculate and very friendly. A place worth visiting, only problem was the noise level that was too high for our old ears.

I came with high expectations given the ranking of the restaurant. I think the food was just ok, the Swedish meatballs were better than those served at Ikea but the day's special (pork roulade) was so dry. The selection of wine made up for the...More

Proper Swedish food. We had lunch with 10 people here. Good service and ala carte options. Enjoyed the plate with Swedish starters and grilled fish. Everybody enjoyed the food. We will be back for more. Fast and friendly service.

Description
Six days a week Nalen Restaurant creates traditional Swedish courses with a modern twist and lots of personality. We work in a sustainable way with mainly organic and local products, and we only serve things that we’ve cooked ourselves. We also have two separate chambers suitable for groups of 8-30 people, if you wish to dine more privately. The restaurant is open Monday-Friday 11 am – 3 pm and 4 pm – 11 pm, and Saturdays between 5 pm – 11 pm.
