Very happy with the food. The staff were very friendly. Cosy atmosphere, a little narrow spaces between tables. The only bad thing is the guest bathroom. Its awful. Feels like a public restroom, dirty, old fashioned, not taken care of. Toilet brush from 1993.

I ate here twice in the last 4 days, I had the Salmon once and the traditional meatballs the other. Both dishes blew me away! Highly recommend to anybody who wants to eat some traditional Swedish food in the old town (Gamla Stan)

Great food, in particular the reindeer starter and main dish. The typical meatball were good too. Dessert selection is limited, but the chocolate mousse is very tasty.

It's very packed on New Year's Eve, limited choices on the menu. The beef and potato are good. Very nice ambience

The food here was fabulous. The service was excellent. The prices were good. The menu was very good but the specials of the day are worth exploring.

I arrived early to ensure that tables were still available as I did not book one in advance. The restaurant was charming and the food served was great. The potato pancakes that accompanied the salty pork reminded me of Swiss Rösti I have tried in Switzerland. The mushroom risotto did not disappoint too. The food portions were large and reasonably... On the recommendation of the hotel staff, my family and I took a quick stroll over for dinner. Singerbulten was about 200m or so away from our Collector's Victory Hotel. Nice cozy little seafood restaurant that also serves some meat dishes. I took the beef flank which was tasty, but slightly too salty. The beef had a bit of tendon... More

We tried to get a table on a Sunday and it was full but we managed for the next day and must say the food was excellent. My partner had the herring which he quite liked and for me vegetarian they did not compromise either. The potato pancakes with a side salad were delicious.

I was recommended this place by a friendly barmaid from O'Connell's, the Irish bar opposite. The restaurant has a good value "daggens" or lunchtime deal available serving traditional Swedish food. I was lucky to get a table as the place was packed with the locals themselves, which is always s good sign. It was my first encounter with the Swedish... More

My wife and me visited the restaurant during our stay in December. I did the reservation with the tripadvisor web site, worked well. The restaurant is located in Gamla Stan, the old, main part of the city of Stockholm. First, the staff is outstanding friendly! It is a smal restaurant, 2 person where serving. we ordered one starter to share... More

Staying in Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest) alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.
