We stopped here for a late lunch on a drizzly day prior to visiting the Nobel Museum, which is across the plaza from the restaurant. It's a very cozy place, and we were immediately seated inside (there are also outdoor tables under an awning). We...More

While visiting Gamla Stan we decided to try this place for dinner. We were not sorry. The reindeer with root vegetables was the most tender and delicious I have had in a long time and I get reindeer a lot when I'm in a Scandinavian...More

Stortorgskallaren is located in Old Town, they looked busy, and with locals. You can start to tell when a group has a leader and everybody else in the group is a tourist. I was here for a smorgasboard with traditional smoked salmon.

This was my first visit to Stockholm and was taken here by a friend. There was a great ambience in the restaurant - a lively buzz but what you might expect for a Saturday night. What stood out for me was the amazing flavours in...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
