We had a coffee here this morning and. Bagel, friendly staff that speak English and a good flat white! The bagel was freshly made and the ingredients were tasty.

The Swedes love their coffee and this is one of many places you can go (it is a chain). They also have a selection of baking goods. Overall I find the prices of the coffee quite higher compared to other counties, but you cannot travel without experiencing that!

The Espresso Houses in Stockholm and Copenhagen are wonderfully large yet intimate places with very comfortable design . The coffee are great, of course, and the baked goods are scrumptious yet reasonably priced

Great coffee. The pastries are delicious and they taste freshly made. They also have some bagels and small sandwiches. A must for your start of your day coffee.

My friends and I visited Sweden for a couple of days and this was by far our favorite place to eat or just grab a coffee. Lovely food, drinks, atmosphere and friendly staff. Vegetarian and vegan friendly, healthy food and good variety of snacks. The Belgium Chocolate Mocha was my favorite drink - goes well with coconut chocolate ball, and... More

Staying in Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest) alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.
