Full satisfaction! Good food, creative and tasty where is difficult to get nostalgic of the animal proteins and fats. Innovative drinks and style of service where the fine dining gets closer to the guests with their friendly atmosphere but still so professional. Sublime location, actually...More

I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years, so this was the only restaurant in Stockholm I had to try. I was a little unsure of what the experience would be like based on some of the reviews. Well, this was one of the best...More

This was the best food we ate on our weeklong trip to Scandinavia. We opted against the tasting menu, and ordered five dishes to share plus dessert. This was more than enough, although the waiter had recommended five to seven dishes. I think seven would...More

OK,this restaurang is above average but the prices are considerably higher than average as well so the rating is not higher, i'm afraid. I have been dining in Mathias Dahlgrens restaurants since the late 90's and have some of my best dining experiences in the...More

I eat in vegetarian restaurants quite a lot. They often manage to surprise me with special, creative recepie. Dishes with strong, beautiful tastes. And If I have to point out one aspect that characterises nearly all of them it is that they are not pretentious....More

We had dinner there several days ago. We had the 5 course tasting menu which although quite interesting and inventive was over priced. This is a vegetarian restaurant with a relaxed vibe and a very interesting and well thought out menu. The tastes were mostly...More

Description
Matsalen is a modern gastronomic restaurant. Our cuisine is based on using the best fresh produce available here and now in Sweden and other parts of the world, spiced with curiosity and inspiration from everything we encounter. "The natural cuisine" is a menu that changes with nature and the seasons. We pair wine, beer and other beverages with each of the dishes we create. All the producers we work with are meticulously selected, they produce something we like. Our menu and drink offering - like the fresh produce - are living and change with the time of the year.
