This place is very good. Initially it seemed a bit basic, but when the food came out it was super tasty. We were a party of 4, so ordered 4 dishes to share and had some left over to take out. I’m not vegan, but really enjoyed the flavours. The ice creams were also delicious flavours. Service was really good... More

Seriously wonderful food. Everything that I love about restaurants: family owned, cozy, passion for what they do. I'm no vegetarian, at all! I love animals: on a stick, in a roll, & deep fried! But, I would swear it was chicken! About to try the Orange-Chili-Ginger ice cream and Pistachio-cardamom.

its a small family owned restaurant where the owner is Swedish guy that actually lived abroad in Asia to learn about the special Asian flavouring, and then he took all his knowledge and opened this little charming restaurant and serves the best veggie food ever eaten, I´ve brought Turkish friends that never eat veggie food, and ordered them Gong Bao,... A small cosy place near the Radmanasgatan metro station with wonderful fusion of fresh vegetables and ingredients. The tofu with flavours of garlic fresh coriander and sprinkling of sesame seeds was surprisingly unusual and tasty. Good options in starters as well as mains. Choice of wines and beer.

This is a small vegan restaurant located near Sveavägen in Stockholm that serves chinese . I visited the restaurant with 5 other people and we all ordered 2 dishes each and shared them all together. They were all delicious and I really recommend any vegan visiting Stockholm to try it out! Non-vegans should try it to of course ;) The... More

I was here only once for lunch and I was in Stockholm for work. I looked for a very good vegan-asiatic restaurant and this was one among the list. Of course I came with lots of expectations. They gave me a seat and a ginger-like drink quickly and...gave me the unique lunch dish! I was reading during the waiting and... More

Although we are not normally vegetarian we required vegan meals in Stockholm and Lao Wei was our very best experience. The dining room is small and reservations are necessary, we arrived without one but were seated within ten minutes. We were there for dinner so there was a full menu. It was difficult to choose because everything looked fascinating. In... More

Little cosy place with a very good chinese-vegan cousine (opinion from a non-vegan). Prices are on average for Stockholm (which is expensive).

We came here for lunch after a long schlep from Central Station, to be told that they have just one dish for lunch which is the meal of the day. It was very disappointing since we were looking forward to a good vegetarian Chinese meal. The website does not mention that they have just one dish for lunch. THis dish... More

Loved the food here, tried several of the dishes and they ranged from good to great. Nothing fancy, stripped down design of the restaurant is reflected by the simple but tasty food. From my seat I could see into the kitchen and watching the older white haired chef who was wearing a bandana work the wok added visual entertainment. Great... More

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
