I was shocked to see some negative/average reviews! The place was atmospheric and the food was delicious. I had the meatballs which is not something I would normally order, but I can highly recommend them! The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food...More

I've been there on my last night in Stockholm, ready to try out the famous Swedish reindeer. The meat was delicious and well matched to different sauces. Dessert was good too. Even though the restaurant sets in Gamla Stan, the fact that it's located in...More

We walked passed during the day and we liked the menu. we went back at the end of the afternoon and asked if they had a table for. Luckily they still had (if we would be finished within 2 hours). The service was friendly and...More

Good food, rivisited swedish specialities, unpleasent service especially if you have children of any age with you. There are no high chairs and you have to leave stroller or pram outside. Courtesy is not one of their main feature; they left us with a 12...More

As you "creep in" to this wee restaurant at slightly lower than roadway level, you feel welcomed and comfortable. The menu is simple with not many choices, but adequate, and they are great with special food issues, having Gluten Free bread and crackers in stock,...More

Not the best service and small lunch menu. Only five or six dishes to pick from although I tried the reindeer and it was good. In the middle gamla stam so prepare for it to be full.

A very cosy and attractive little restaurant in the old town adjacent to a famous 1000 year old Viking rune stone. We arrived at 8.45 on a Friday and they were still accepting new customers as we paid. We had one course, 2 beef and...More

Tried Kryp In after seeing it being reviewed in Tripadvisor as one of the "Best vegetarian restaurants in Stockholm". However, they didn't have a one single vegetarian portion on their menu. The lunch menu is short and limited and the waitresses bring you the a...More

This cozy little restaurant -- Kryp In means something like "crawl in" -- is definitely worth a visit. They do mostly traditional Swedish cooking, but not in a boring way. The reindeer in particular stands out, as did the rhubarb dessert. It's also got the...More

We had a great dinner here on our first night in Sweden and enjoyed it so much that we returned two weeks later. Our first visit was memorable. Michele our server couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. My starter of white asparagus was cooked...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
