The service is very slow, and the staff are extremely rude. The sushi is ok, but you can get better sushi for the same price at other places in Stockholm.

This place is such a pleasant surprise! It looks quite average from inside & outside, but their sushi will just blow your mind and you will completely stop paying attention to surroundings. It is also very affordable and you can get full with a singe set is sushi/maki. Highly recommend!

Great Sushi for a good price. The both of us had way enough to eat. The fish is super fresh and you can feel it after the first taste. Good place to eat.

We arrived with a group of 6 to have dinner. The place is quite small but the extremely friendly staff made every effort to accommodate us. We ordered a variety of sushi rolls and nigiri. The quality and taste of the food was overwhelming. All sushi was fresh made and served at the correct temperature. All of us have been... More

OK sushi and fast service. The staff was not that friendly, but I will return because of convenience.

This place does not really have anywhere that you can sit but it is good for picking up sushi and taking with you home. They make the most beautiful sushi here with nice decorations making them so gorgeous that you will have problem eating them.

I have never had better sushi anywhere in Sweden (having visited >100 sushi places) and I count the quality of the sushi at Samba Sushi among the best I have tried in Europe. It is like ordering sushi in a really good restaurant in New York. It's gorgeous and delicious, close to perfection. Unfortunately the menu almost never changes, and... More

After walking past way too many restaurants and shops that clearly were more about the carriage trade than real substance, the packed counter at Samba Sushi, even at 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon, drew me in. I'm thinking, "Well, maybe it isn't bad for a chain." (As I later found out, it is a one-location shop.) Reasonable prices on... More

Staying in Slussen

Neighbourhood Profile
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.
