The best meal in town! We spent 4 days in this beautiful city and this was the highlight for dinner. The presentation was incredible. We had 3 or 4 course meal with desert. Every thing we ate was amazing.

Family of foodies tried menus 1 & 2 with wine packages. Minds blown already by the excellent opener: watermelon gazpacho. As if we hadn’t already fallen in love with the place for the impeccable service - the mother of rain/hail/thunder storms paid a visit and...sent everyone scrambling inside for shelter. Again - impeccable service and among saving cushions, flowers and glasses from the wind and rain outside. Talk about dinner and a show! Continued savouring every bite of the main course, and couldn’t have dreamt up better wine matches. A word of advice: don’t miss the dessert with rhubarb sorbet and hot caramel sauce… OMG! Easily our best meal so far in 2022. Will come back to Örebro exclusively for the grand menu, no question! Mwah! 🤩More

I was there with a friend on a wednesday evening, we finally decided to go for the menu 1 and 2 with the wine package. From starter to desert it was a real pleasure, very fresh and creative with a lot of different tastes ......the proposed wines matched perfectly to the different courses. We finally went back the next day and switched the menus. Very friendly staff and totally worth it. Will go back again for sure.More

When you get engaged, in CoVid times, you may want to order a Take Away menu from Amano in Örebro, Sweden. Because you beling to a Covid-risk group. You choose the menu. Write an email to ask for wine recommendations (they do not answer). Pick...up the food. Have tons of expectations!!! She/he said yes to the "will you marry me?" question. And on to the food....Major disappointment! Starter: The pasta is not really cooked, the cheese does not melt, the beetroot stains everythi ng, too salty. Main dish: flatfish stuffed with lax, yet again over saltiness, over dry. Impossible to eat. Dessert: panacotta with over-acidic strawberries, chocolate dust with weird taste...Anticlimax! Maybe the Chef had a (very) bad day? On one of the best days of our life. Too bad Amano, we will not ever come back not recommend you.More

If creme brulee is on the menu, get it. The best I've ever had, almost ordered another. My main course was fish and it was so delicious. Everything was delicious. The service was wonderful. Wish I lived within walking distance.

If you pay the price for fine dinning, the food have to be likewise. Overall the food was good. But some minor details for example: The starter was oversalted and the meat was chilled. With other words I’m not that impressed.

A bit pricey restaurant but we were very satisfied with the great service and the food. The food is made from the best fresh ingredients from local farms. The chefs really know how to take care of the local flavours. Loud music from the restaurant...next doors local Dj was a bit disturbing.More

This restaurant is located in a cozy backyard, with options to sit outside. The meny is mostly set menues, but also offer a la carte. I chose a set menu, which was excellently presented. We also got a complimentary soup before the starter, that was...super tasty and well presented. Good way to start the meal! The starter was a ravioli with Gorgonzola. Very good and tasty. The main course was veal, which actually was not that excellent. The meat was grilled, but was swimming in sauce and was a bit on the fat side. It actually also was too much meat and not enough vegetables, so i didnt think the dish was that well balanced. Tasty, but not great. The dessert was Creme Brulê served with a sorbet on the side. An excellent combination of taste and well presented. All in all the dishes were well presented and the service was very discreet and good. The waiters were around us when we needed them, and the time from ordering to serve was quite ok with not that much wait between the dishes. A very good experience at this restaurant, but i will not rate it full score due to the dissapointment of the main dish. My friend ordered the set menu with fish, which in my opinion looked better and according to my friend, was excellent all the way. I may have been unlucky, and no matter what, i would not hesitate to go back here.More
