This is the third time we visit this place. All three times with kids and family. Ample space both in and outside, no problem having a pram (can though be crowded, use common sence). Lovely surroundings with the cafees win greenhouse and farm animals. The food ( ecological and vegetarian) is really good. Well made, well presented and more tasty... More

Four friends enjoyed Kanelboller and coffee for a pre lunch in this very enjoyable restaurant. And the fresh made pastry was very good. You can buy vegetables, fruit and fresh herbs here. It is also a nice garden were you can enjoy your meal. And everyone is arriving by walking or bicycling!

Garden, bakery, restaurant it is all organic. A bit pricy, well yes and no, when looking at the quality of the food and bearing in mind it is all grown there without chemicals it is worth every krona. It is quiet and relaxing, outdoor seating area is right next to a pond with some wild ducks in it, chicken and... More

A garden idyll. Our meal here was included as part of our InnTravel break, and it was one of the highest quality meals I've probably ever had. It's a wonderful experience having a salad while sitting in the garden in which it was grown! Our entire meal including alcoholic drinks were included, which was great. The sheep are a lovely... 25 years on Koster so I know it pretty well. Koster's Trägårdar and restuarant are a labour of love and dedication. BUT, 400 swedish crowns for 2 bowls of carrot soup and 2 glasses of juice?? I'm sorry; it is wonderful soup but the prices are reaching a level where they will soon kill their own business. i have given... More

This restaurant is a haven of fresh home grown food in perfect surroundings. I came here as part of a package with Inn Travel to have lunch midway around the island on a bicycle. We parked our bikes and wandered into the cool homely restaurant. Outside were chairs and tables overlooking a lake but we preferred to sit indoors on... More

Kosters Trädgårdar can be found on the Koster islands, 1/2 hour by ferry from Strömstad, get off at the Langagarde landing and walk/bike 1 km. Stefan and Helena von Bothmer run an ecofriendly market garden with the restaurant set inside the garden, by a small pond. During the summer, there is usually art exhibitions in the greenhouses.
