1: The lunch menu was fantastic today. A bit expensive but worth every penny. 2: Location is perfect. Very close to the main road #5, but not too close that it would bother. 3: Historical surroundings and furniture. 4: Friendly service. 5: There's also a shop to get the souvenirs.

Overall: 4 Comments: slightly outside the center, ready and available coming with a car from Helsinki and looking for a nice place for a Pitstop. There are some interesting 'attractions' on the same location such as gift shops and St.clause's summer workshop. There are also many plants on the premises for those interested. The cafe close to the waterfront has... More

Restaurant is in old wooden historical building. Local food and season menu. There is also a shopping center where you can find nice local things.

Cute typical buildings, nice cafè and restaurant with 0km food, shop with typical ecological products and Santa Claus' summer-home. Recommended to have a look!

Three times I've visited here. The last two were pretty useless, the place hasn´t renewed, and the service has not improved. Commercialism has spoiled the mood.

Kenkävero is really beautiful place and we felt very welcome when we arrived there for late lunch with kids. Buffet price for kids was very reasonable, 1€ per year. They grow some of their food in their own garden and food tasted good, also kids liked it a lot. Garden was a bit disappointment, it had grown out. Probably our... More

Historic milieau is nice, but that's about it. Stopped in for a lunch at the restaurant. Paid 16 euros for a pulled pork hamburger and coleslaw. The food is just not worth the money and falls flat on taste. Considering that this restaurant is tied to one finnish Master Chef referee I would have expected the dish to have actually... More

Nice environment but restaurant was big disappointment. We eat buffet lunch. There was only beef, not f.e. Fish. Poor selection and some food were finished before lunch time finished (4 PM). Very expensive. Not recommended.
