A great place for a quick and tasty lunch for a reasonable price. The place doesn't look like much, though - but the food compensates for it. The place is popular for lunch, and no wonder. A nice option in the Hakaniemi district. You always have 6 choices for lunch and the food is from good to delicious. The best... More

We visited the restaurant late monday evening. First impression was that the restaurant was dirty: tablecloths were stained and decorations clearly left forgotten for at least 5 years. The papadum bread served as a greeting from the kitchen had a lump of black hair in it. When told the waiter just shrugged shoulders. What must be the passion towards rest... More

I've only ever been to Himshikhar for lunch, but they always have 6 entree options to choose from and a decent salad bar to start with. Good value for the money and fast service.

Went with my husband on our anniversary, just for the momos. They tasted just like the ones we ate in india! We ordered the lamb and vegetable ones, both really tasty. Naan bread that came with the momosoup was the best naan I have had in Finland. Nice selection of Nepalese beer.

I often visit the place during lunchtime as they offer very good budget choices with salad. The place has the best naan bread among Nepalese restaurant in Finland I have visited. Chicken dishes are strongly recommended! Service is really fast and staff is very attentive. Kitchen could make as spicy food as u ask for. All is good.

I visited this place with my family and my in-laws. The service was not very good. Although the restaurant was almost empty they took lot of time to deliver the order. The taste of food was also not up to the mark. The rice was poorly cooked (not completely cooked).

First of all, I would rate it better than 'Average' but certainly not 'Very Good'. During our visit to Hakaniemi market square we were looking for restaurant serving Indian lunch/food and discovered this place. I ordered Lamb meat balls with mint gravy and my wife ordered garlic chicken curry. Both the meals came with small portion of lentils and some... More

Momos were very nice and the accompanying soup too. The Alu Govi was a bit too oily and spicy for my taste but it was ok. Very close to our hotel. So we may come again.
